Steve Masterson brings almost 25 years of performing and living to his touching and inspiring cabaret show, With a Song In My Heart. His first cabaret performances were in small clubs in Greenwich Village in the mid-1970s. Over the years he has performed at some of the leading cabaret venues including the Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall (NYC), the Cinegrill (Los Angeles), the Plush Room (San Francisco) and many more. His favorite performances have been fund-raising events for numerous organizations including, AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), American Foundation for AIDS Research (AMFAR), Center for Living, City of Hope, Marriott Foundation’s Bridges ...from school to work program, Project New Hope, and the Shanti Foundation.

As a teenager and young adult, Steve appeared in numerous plays and musicals in New York, regional theater and summer stock; appeared in television films, series and commercials; and worked extensively as a model. As a graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, he appeared in several main stage productions at Freud Playhouse.

"Like all of our lives, my life has been filled with great happiness and real disappointment; achievement –both personal and professional –and failure; and the greatest love and, yes, tremendous loss. At this point, I just want to sing! I want to share these experiences and exchange thoughts and feelings with those wonderful cabaret audiences. It is my sincere hope that my performances will evoke thoughts and emotions that will result in an increased understanding, compassion and generosity toward one another . . . for really, we are all One."
